'Viewpoint' - a telescope to view...?
.
..

Here's the shoreline - it was taken after the sun was
over the horizon, at Ocean Beach in S.F.,
at a ridiculously slow shutter speed - it's a little soft,
but that works fine.

(I was so, sooo lucky to have spent almost a decade in an apt. at
12th Ave. & Balboa St., a bus ride to the beach took 20 minutes, tops,
and I had access to a rooftop deck, where I could 'preview'
what was coming in, off the ocean.
The best 10 years of my life (so far), no two ways about it.)

It's is a 'test' print, I've held(dodged) back the center to
accomodate the telescope, below...

This is the full frame negative, a 'telescope', perched on a lookout point,
at Cliff House, Ocean Beach in SF.

This is what I burned into the center of the shoreline image

When they come together, it's a place that doesn't exist
in the real world...
but it definitely exists in some larger imaginary world...
at least, I think it does.

The telescope is looking beyond the horizon...
a good place to 'look' don't you think...?

I like the simplicity & mystery of this image.
