The two negatives:

The oh-so-lonely sign, pointing to...?



You can still see the faint remains of a road, coming in from the lower right.
curving off into the distance. Where it went to, we'll never know.
In the print, I guess I created that destination.

 

The collection of stuff across from the 'No Gotta' Ranch.

Nice start, needs more.

 

What it needed was some 'atmosphere', a sky...
which would somehow create some interplay between sign and the 'distance',
though at this point I've lost track of which neg that was,
can't find the proof sheet to show you, sorry.

Three final prints, all a bit different - The difference is the position
of the sky, paying special attention to how it overlays the sign.

 

 

 

 

 

Don't look off into the distance too often, what you see may be...
unsettling, disonant, or...perhaps quite the opposite.

Everything is always 'in the eyes of the beholder'.
