Sun dogs

I shot about 10 rolls of B&W on the trip...
this is the only frame I've gotten a round to printing, so far...
"Sun dogs' are a bit like rainbows-
they are refractions off of high cirrus clouds, & are visible as 'spectrums'
at 90 degrees from the sun - visible here, in B&W, as 'hi-lites' just outside the circular glow....
