Marin Headlands - Oct. 2010 - Fog!

Fog shrouded trees, south end of Golden Gate bridge

Sunlight thru the trees

The G.G. Bridge, what's visible of it.

When I got over to the Marin Headlands, it was clearer what was going on -
a 'finger' of fog was creeping into the bay, from the south.

Looking south, to the Point Bonita Lighthouse.

The Pt. Bonita Lighthouse, fog creeping up the rocks.

Looking west, here's the view.

To the north, the fog was 'trying hard' to come onshore, with limited success.
It ebbed and flowed.... like below...

I am always just happy to 'Be here now', and take sights like this in.
What more can you ask for?

Oh...OK, i guess you could ask for some waves...

.

..and the gentle sizzling sound that happens
as the waves recede over the pebbles on the beach...

Enjoy simple things - you'll be much happier.
